If you see this sign at the Rifle Range, it means that the rifle range is closed.
This happens when there is a scheduled Trap Shooting (not including Weds.) or during an event where the Rifle Range is being used for the event. See the schedule on the left menu to view the schedule of events. If there is any person in the woods (for hunting or any other reason), the sign will be used. Every member may use the Stop sign if they feel it is appropriate for safety. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. Any member that does not follow this rule is subject to being banned from the club. |
We are now offering Concealed Carry Class at the club
Maximum class: 8
Cost: $90 for nonmembers/$85 for members.
Class hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM

Trap Practice - Singles, Handicap and Doubles
Every Wednesday from 9AM to 8PM $4.00/round of 25
Our club started out over 30 years ago as the Black Powder Shooters Club. Through the dedication and hard work of our members, families, and volunteers we have evolved into a premiere ATA Sanctioned Trap Shooting facility.
There is something at the Monroe Sportsman's Club for everyone. We host trap league, regular scheduled shoots and get togethers. We are an NRA Affiliate, Amateur Trapshooting Association and Ohio State Trapshooting Association sanctioned. We have four lighted trap fields, all with automatic traps and voice releases. Ammunition is also available.
There is a 2500 square foot clubhouse with two covered porches, indoor restrooms and kitchen on the premises. Limited camping with 30 amp electric is available during trap shoots.
There is a rifle and pistol range with 25, 50 and 100 yard backstops to sight in all your guns. Hunting and fishing are also available to members. Check the schedule, get the family together and come out and spend the day with us!
